Let’s talk about BLACK FRIDAY!!

Hey mama…I hope you had the most wonderful day being around family and thinking about all the things you’re grateful for.

Our weekend has been pretty quiet. We chose to keep it simple with just Paul and me because I’m still getting over a three-week cold. First of all, I rarely get sick, and when I do, it doesn’t last long, so, this is not usual for me. I’m guessing my body just needed extra rest.

But let’s talk about BLACK FRIDAY!!

I feel like my own business is basically Black Friday every single day. I give away pretty much all my content for free every day! I am SO grateful for each one of you and the support you have given me throughout the year. In August, we collectively raised $40,000 for midwife scholarships in Sanaag. I couldn’t have done that without each of you. Together WE made a difference in the world!!!

Anyone who helped with that project got a discount on my website for both my book, and it’s companion digital guide. If you missed out on that, please go now and claim your books. http://bit.ly/2ND2Ld4 use the code sanaag20 for a 20% discount.

Every year I have some big project, I’m not sure what 2023 will bring, but I’m open to receiving whatever comes up.

I wanted to chat about alternative ways to spend your Black Friday weekend aside from all the hustle and bustle of shopping!! I’d love to know what your weekend looks like as you bring in the season of celebration and holidays.

My grandkids in Georgia spend the day making memories of kayaking on a nearby lake. We joined them through Marco Polo, and it was so fun to see them and feel like we were right there with them. I’m especially grateful for technology.

Another set of grandkids in Idaho started their holidays off with family karaoke and dancing. I love that they, too, are creating memories and just having fun together!

Paul and I got out our Oculus and played Walkabout mini golf. I don’t know why mini-golf feels like such a workout, but by the 18th hole, I’m dripping wet!

We also gave each other the AromaTouch Technique. It’s a simple yet powerful way to support our immune system and nurture our relationship. If you haven’t experienced this, please reach out, and I can help you learn more about it. Here are the oils we used.

In the end, family is what really matters. The memories we make and the bonds we magnify. I’m beyond grateful for all that we get to enjoy in life. Especially for our amazing family, from our parents and siblings to our children, their spouses, and our adorable grandchildren.

Thank you for being a part of our extended family.
