If you’re having some anxious feelings when it comes to menopause you’re certainly not alone. Hot flashes, night sweats, weight gain, uncomfortable sex, irritation, and mood swings are all the things and while these definitely are valid complaints there is help that doesn’t always have to involve hormonal therapy.

While hormone therapy may help some women, it’s not necessarily for every woman. Mindfulness may be associated with fewer menopausal symptoms for women, according to a Mayo Clinic study recently published in Climacteric: The Journal of the International Menopause Society. Researchers discovered that being mindful may be especially helpful for menopausal women struggling with irritability, anxiety, and depression.

Eating a healthy diet full of fruits and vegetables is also helps you manage symptoms better along with regular exercise and a restful night’s sleep.

Never underestimate the power of a healthy non-toxic lifestyle when it comes to naturally managing symptoms of menopause.

Coconut oil makes a great, all-natural lube that can be excellent for women experiencing menopause dryness. When choosing lube, you’ll want to make sure it’s as natural as possible to avoid irritation. I love fractionated coconut oil and adding in a couple of essential oils.
