My Favorite Recipe

Simple Citrus

Oranges are packed with vitamin C and provide a healthy dose of sweetness. They make up half the liquid base in this recipe. The fiber helps slow down the release of the fruit sugars, keeping your blood sugar stable while you sip on this sweet treat. Yum!


  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 oranges, peeled
  • 1 banana


  1. Blend the spinach, water, and oranges until smooth.
  2. Add the banana and blend again.

Tip: Peel your oranges with a potato peeler, leaving the inner white peel for the most nutrients.
